Question Adding a new RAM for a dual channel, question about compatibility

I have 8gb micron 8atf1g64hz-2g6h1 notebook ram. And I want to upgrade my system to 16 gb ram. I want to make ram to dual channel. If I buy this ram it makes my system dual channel? Or you suggest any other ram module?

No it won't.
You can't put that stick with the old one because there is only one slot.
You also need 2 slots and 2 of the same sticks in both slots for dual channel
I suggest getting one 16gb ram stick if it's compatible

But I have also extra slot for that. I m using just 1/2 ram slot.
