Adding a second activity light for a trayless mobile rack addon?

I'm trying to connect a second activity light power connector to my motherboard but it only has a front header that offers one HD+ and HD- section that is already populated (system SSD).

The additional tray is an ICY BOX

If your SSD is connected to the MoBo via onboard-SATA, and the Disk in the MobileRack is connected to the onboard sata as well, and the power-LED of the case is connected to the onboard-pins of the HDD-LED, the LED will light up whenever one of both is active. So, your problem should not even exist. Is that the case? Try it.
