[SOLVED] Adding a second hard drive for storage

On my windows based build, if I want to add a second hard drive for storage, do I need to install windows onto that drive as well? Thanks Ryan

Hello Ryan,

No, of course you don't!
You only need one boot drive in a computer, and that will remain the one you have now.
You will only need to connect the new hard drive, and possibly create a new partition on it using the built-in Disk Management of Windows.

Here's a detailed guide on how to do the new partition (see the "Create New Volume" section):
