Adding a Second Power Switch to my Computer

I want to attach an additional power reset switch to my computer so that I can continue to use the existing one on the front of my case and have an additional one up on my desk. My motherboards manual says the power switch is a "ATX power button/soft-off button (2-pin PWRSW)". I had hoped to buy a splitter cable so that I could simply plug in an additional switch.

I have looked and there doesn't seem to be cables you can buy for this purpose. Will I have to split the cable manually? Or am I just looking for the wrong thing?

I have found many 2-Pin Computer Case Fan Power Connector Y-Splitter Adapter Cables but I don't think this is what I want.

What would be the best way to accomplish this? If necessary I'm open to soldering something but I would prefer to buy something ready made so I don't screw it up.

I don't think there are splitters for that purpose.
What you can do is take the two wires on the switch button you will or have bought and
wrap the black one around the black one, the red one around the red one, after that wrap them with electrical tape and you have successfully split your wires.

So my best bet might be just sauder the black wires and the red wires to each other and wrap them? I saw the other question before posting but I was worried doing that might be a bit sketchy.

The power or reset switch is a simple momentary switch.

Wire another one in parallel, and it will work.

Solder + wire + heatshrink (not tape) + another switch.

Hello... Typically the start and Reset switches are N.O. (normally open) Momentary switches... so parallel wiring will work to the MB/case existing switch/wires.
