I'm running a 2600x on a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite. Currently, I have 1 stick of 8GB CL16 2666MHz from Kingston
( HX426C16FB2 ) and i want to add another module of 8GB, but the closest I could find was a stick of
HX426C16FB3 with the same frequency and timings. Would adding this stick be a good idea, and would i be able to run them in dual channel?

You will have a 50/50 chance that will work. If it works it might default to a lower frequency (2400MHz or even 2133MHz)
In that situation I would get a 2x 8GB=16GB kit.
Unless you are adventurous and want to playing around with speed, timings and voltages in the BIOS.

i think that is the same ram just labeld different. fb2 one ram stick and f3 2x8 gb.
Looks like it exactly the same ram to me.
It is not about if the RAM modules are the same. Even modules that have the same model number might have different IC chips.
The issue is that those two sticks were not tested to work in tandem as is done with modules that come in a kit.

I's not good to run mismatched ram modules as the SMP variables will still differ. Yet, perhaps the heat spreaders are just different.
