Hello, I am currently using an SSD as my only storage right now and would like to add another hard drive. However, my hard drive already has Windows and other files on it and I'm afraid if I plug in both the SSD and Hard Drive at the same time, a problem may occur between the two separate drives. I would like to wipe my hard drive clean and have it be like new, while keeping the stuff that I have on my SSD right now. How can I do this? Thanks!

Assuming your BIOS boot order is correct and the system does not try to boot from the old HDD, you can wipe it clean with no issue.

Commandline function diskpart and the clean command wipes the whole drive in one shot.

Just be absolutely sure which drive you are accessing when you do this.
