adding a used ssd

We have a computer with a 140gb ssd,
The ssd(320gb) that i want to add is from our other computer but stop booting because it's saying this"reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"
will it work?

If the SSD stopped working on the other computer, either a BIOS setting got messed up or it's a bad drive.

Thx for advice,i tried to fix it in BIOS settings but it only shows the name of the drive instead of (cd rom)

If you select the SSD in BIOS as the primary boot drive then it should work, since it worked fine before. If it doesn't work then it's a bad drive.
