Question Adding A2dp for an Android TV?

Hi
We have a TV in one of the room as sony 49x800e that has BT but no a2dp so I can't add a BT speaker to it.
As the TV is Android, is there any way I can add the a2dp format? I tried to plug a simple Chinese bt dongle on usb but the TV won't even detect it so it looks like this tv is doomed with a limited BT?

A2DP is a BT protocol --- it cannot be added to your Sony TV.

The specifications sheet for the Sony XBR-49X800E clearly states that it's built-in Bluetooth supports mouse & keyboard only:

U want a BT TRASNSMITTER, and yes can't use USB (would it nice, but NOOoooo), but BT trans with analog/Optical inputs available, get one that is USB powered and it powers along with TV, just don't get one where u must push a button to power it on.

I wish we could have custom roms on android tv to get a2dp for example.
My other tv 55x900e has full bt protocols

It is not just a matter of firmware or software, the hardware in the device has to support it.
