Adding Additional G.Skill Aegis RAM (8 GB)

Good evening everyone!

I created my first build this summer and installed a single stick of 8 GB G.Skill Aegis RAM DDR4. I’d like to upgrade this as my mobo (GIGABYTE H370 AORUS Gaming 3 WiFi) is dual channel and has four slots for RAM. With that being said, I was wondering if I am going to hit any roadblocks if I buy the same exact stick of 8 GB RAM and install it in a different RAM slot.

Thanks!
Jack

Solution
Actually....what you are doing is about is ideal as it's going to get.

You shouldn't hit any roadblocks.

You should be able to power down...install it....go to the BIOS....and see it.

Then SAVE THE BIOS and you should be good to go.
