Question Adding additional SSD / IDE HDD doesn't appear anymore

I currently have an Aorus Z370 Motherboard with 1TB of IDE and 250GB (with my OS) SDD. I am trying to add a Samsung 860 EVO 500GB Sata M.2, which attaches to my motherboard. When i startup my PC, my 1TB IDE does not read in bios or windows. I tried a memory diagnostic and a disk manager scan, but still nothing. When i take out the new Samsung SSD, the IDE appears again. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

motherboard does not have IDE.
the M.2 disables a SATA port for its bandwidth. try moving the device to another sata port.

Sorry, it was a SATA, not an IDE.
I can only find 2 sata ports which are both being used.
Is there a way to get another one or should i return the M.2?
