My current case has 4 front panel USB 3 slots but the Motherboard I am looking at only has one header. I know that I can get two to run of the slot but is there a way to 'split' the header in order to power the other two? Or would I have to look at adding a PCI card with an extra header if I was wanting to power them? Are there any other elegant solutions out there that can work?

How many USB devices need to be supported?

My suggestion is to use an external independently powered USB 3.0 hub.

Google the underlined words in the preceding sentence. Limit the search to the last year or so.

Many products available.

I don't really have a number per say, and the motherboard does have a ton on the backside of the case. I moreso just want to be able to have all the front panel powered.
