So I just ordered brand new computer components that I'm planing to put together when they arrive in a week or two. The config/motherboard doesn't have wifi/bluetooth at the moment, which I want. I wanna solve this as cheap and fun as possible.
the motherboard I ordered is the MSI Z370 SLI Plus, Socket-1151.
So my idea is to buy a Intel WLAN module AC-8260 M.2 and connect with these bad boys. Or alternatively something like these ones.
So my problem here is the coax connection choice. Intel doesn't give away much but I've found out that the connections are U.FL (I think) and now I'm wondering if I should stick to what I found above or if I should try something else. Also, since one of the connections handles both "wifi and bluetooth" How should I chose antennas? should I go for a pair of simple dualband antennas? Is a 2.4GHz antenna compatible with a 5GHz signal (I'm thinking that the wavelength is half and therefore the antenna has sort of the right dimensions) ? I'm just striving for decent range/power so nothing fancy is needed.

Sod
