Adding dvd

Hello,
i have a notebook with no dvd and i want to be able to play films on my notebook what do in need to do this i only have starter on it

The easy way is to buy an external dvd drive.

So that will literally be the only way to do it. With an external DVD drive. That is unless you are able to create disk images (.iso, .img, .nrg etc etc) and then mount those images with an application such as PowerISO or Daemon Tools

are the films on disc or saved as files?

if discs the quickest way is external dvd player

if files just get a large usb flash drive--16gb or 32gb--they are really cheap nowadays
