So I just recently got a HP Specter x360 (15-inch model) only to learn that its graphics card is pretty limited in terms of what games it can run. I have an NVIDA GTX 970 on hand that I could attach, but I'm not sure what the process is. I am fairly computer illiterate (which is why I thought this would be a good gaming computer in the first place), so I'm looking for as straightforward an explanation as possible. Basically I want to know:
What exactly do I need to buy? (The more specific the better -- I've heard that some peripherals are incompatible with certain graphics cards, but I'm having trouble finding specifics.)
Once I have everything, what gets hooked up to what? Or, alternatively, does anyone know somewhere that offers an easy-to-follow walkthrough?
Are there any ways to cut costs that won't make my computer melt?
Thanks for the help!
