[SOLVED] Adding extra HDD to case - can I put 1 or 2 here?

Solution
Hi guys
I've got a fractal meshify C case. I'd like to add another HDD but I already have 2 installed. Id there any reason why I can't put 1 or even 2 in the place shown in the photo, i.e screwed to the metal below the graphics card.

You can mount them their if you wish that vent is not doing anything unless you have the PSU fan pointing up instead of down at the bottom filter like it should be.

You could even buy a couple mounts for them you would need to get some screws to secure the mounts but should be no big deal...

I would not put them over the vents for the basement. IIRC the area to the front of the case/back wall has brackets available for drive mounts?

Thank punkncat

I'm not to keen to put them between the motherboard and the front intake fans. I'm worried they'll mess with the incoming airflow.

What if I put some standoffs to elevate them above the basement vents, thereby allowing air still to come up from the basement?

The other option is to put them directly above the PSU as that this blocking the vents anyway?

That looks like Meshify S2 (not Meshify C).

Meshify C supports only 2 drives.

Meshify S2 supports 3x 3.5"drives and 2x 2.5" drives
