So I recently went from win 7 home premium 32bit to 64bit as I upgraded my RAM from 3 to 6GB.

I have now a total of 4x 2GB Kingston DDR2 667Mhz PC2-5300 240-pin DIMM

which I am trying to use in order to reach the [8GB maximum] ram my motherboard [Dell 0TP406] supports.

However when I swap out the 2x 1GB DDR2 667Mhz PC2-5300 240-pin DIMM that are in there at the moment, for another 2 Kingston sticks, the PC won't boot (not even load BIOS).

I have swapped combinations of the Kingston sticks between themselves, so there is no hardware fault with motherboard or RAM sticks.

I also tried 3x 2GB and 1x 1GB sticks, BIOS loaded then Blue Screen Of Death appeared as Windows began to boot.

ANY help would be amazing!

Try using one card at first.
Check for timings and voltage of the new cards, then use the old cards, go to bios make the changes for the new cards then save and turn off.
Install the new cards one card at first.
