hey guys
its getting too hot here in India
the CPU temps in the day at stock speeds while gaming with my i5 4690K got up to 71-72 degrees
Ofcourse ive ordered an after market CPU cooler

but apart from that i also want to install additional fans in my Corsair 400R case
will that help bring the temps down a little?

my case already has two 120mm intake fans in the front and one 120mm exhaust in the rear

my new Deepcool Gamer Storm Lucifer will arrive in a couple of days
however it will be set up in a pull configuration(because it will interfere with my high proflie RAM if set up in a push configuration) and the fan on the cooler will be right next to the rear exhaust fan on my case

i currently have 5 empty slots in my case 2 on the top 2 on the sides and 1 at the bottom

im thinking of installing 2 new fans:
1) one 140mm fan on the top on the end closer to the front of the case (so that it blows fresh air directly at my CPU cooler)
2) one 140mm at the bottom of the case (that it blows air at my GPU- GTX 970)

I dont want to install fans on the side panels for the obvious reason that it will get difficult to open the side panel when needed

do you think is configuration will be good?
will it be too much intake and no exhaust?
please suggest any other better ways to set up the new fans

additionally also suggest a decent fan controller

thanks in advance guys

I agree with that
but wouldnt installing a fan on the top compete with the fan on the heatsink and the rear exhaust and affect the performance of the CPU cooler?
