Adding folder list view to taskbar

Hello everyone. I have a quick question. In windows 10 i could add a link to the taskbar with a little arrow that when clicked on would give me a list of the folder contents. I've been trying all day to get this in windows 11 but i keep failing.
Can anyone help me out, please!!!

How did you do it in Win 10?

I would right click the taskbarm select toolbars, select add toolbar. Choose the folder and hit ok.

Windows 11 "simplified" a lot of things you could do with the taskbar. So that feature likely got the axe.

You might be able to do what you want with a third party shell replacement like Start 11.

It looks like that functionality has been removed from Windows 11.

I just tried it out and it appears to be OK. I'm sure there are other 3rd party apps that do similar things.
