Hello, I need to get some help in determining what type of graphics card will be best suited for my intended application. My laptop's mobo recently died and I had been primarily using it to connect to my tv to run Netflix, crunchy roll, and other internet streaming services.

I have an Lenovo K300 laying around that I haven't used in some time so I was considering making this my new workhorse. The only problem is it doesn't have an hdmi port or a wireless adaptor. I've been looking at adding a graphics card but I new to tinkering around with PC's and it just seems like there are many areas I could go wrong (eg. compatibility, power issues..)

I just wanted to get some clarification and help on choosing the right graphics card. It will only be used for internet streaming. No gaming involved.

Thanks,

I prefer to stay around the $50 range but that is flexible. Here's a picture of the power supply. Thanks!

That is a 250W PSU, there are very few cards that will work with this small of PSU. While there are a few older video cards that will work on that small of a PSU, the next issue is having the available 6-pin power connections on the PSU for the video card. Furthermore, an older card to work with that PSU most likely would not have HDMI.
