[SOLVED] Adding M.2 to mobo

So I've got an Asus g10ac which I have done a bit of upgrading to and it does me just fine. I would like to add m.2 and I'm curious what slots it has if anyone can identify them. I am mostly concerned with the cream pcie slot and the black pcie slot whether there is any difference. The manufacturer says it has 1 PCI E x16, 1 pcie X4, and 2 pcie X1 yet the long black pcie slot looks the same as the long cream-colored pcie to me. I have a Sapphire Nitro plus RX 580 8GB in the cream one currently. Enclosed is a link to a picture of the motherboard. Mobo img

why not just a 2.5" ssd?
that asus will not boot from the m.2
