the reason for adding these fans is purely for looks I just want shiny blue led fans all over :)

I have the Thermaltake Armor Revo full tower. there are 2 open spots for fans. the 2nd top fan and a bottom fan.

what I want to do is get a 2nd top fan (must match the one already in the case) and bottom fan (also must match) and I also want to replace the side fan with one that is clear and blue led on it

by match I mean be a clear cased thermaltake with blue led like the ones below

so far I found the bottom fan http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

and for the side the current one is a 200x200x30 also clear case with blue led and I found this http://compare.ebay.com/like/390551336505?var=lv&ltyp=A...
its a 200x200x20 I don't think the 10mm on depth will make a difference much. if im wrong please let me know

I currently have 2 issues, first issue is with the side fan 200mm, I don't know how I would replace the one currently on there, im referencing to the connections because the fan on there connects to a 3 prong thingy ... I don't even know what they are called, but its this 3 prong thingy that connects the side to the case like a removable cell phone battery with those copper plugs that touch, im not sure how I would replace the current fan with this, do I just rewire it somehow? or must the fan come with this connection?

the top fan its size needs to be 140x140x25 and be the same clear thermaltake case with blue LED's. and the 200mm one next to it that came with the case

2nd issue is with the top fan needing to be 140mm ... I cant find them anywhere, atleast not thermaltake ones, and im afraid if I go with another brand maybe the led color will be off or something and look bad

3rd issue is one im already compromising on, that's that the fans that come with the case are black and white thermaltake labels but the ones im finding are all orange, I can bend on this one and maybe just take the sticker off lol

any help or point in the right direction is appreciated

all I found on thermaltake.com was a 120mm fan for the bottom.

the reason I want them all to be thermaltake is because I don't want the led to be mismatchd or anything, got fans already from different compony and the LED color was way off and looked bad with the two different colors going,

so all in all I need help finding a top fan 140mm and need to know how to replace side fan with that connector thing

For connecting fans, you can use your motherboard's controller if open spaces are found. If not, you have two options. First is to have an "always on full speed" connection with either an adapter to tap into your molex connectors (power connectors for your DVD/CD/HDD), or you can purchase a fan controller like this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811992004&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Controller+Panels-_-N82E16811992004&gclid=CLr0oLLd9bYCFccx4AodwgwAkA

or

There are several different types out there, but they connect to the motherboard's fan controller and give you the options to manually override. The first option gives you heat sensors to automatically increase or decrease fan speed based on internal temperatures. Also looks cool on the front of the computer.

thank you both, any idea on what I could do for the side fan? it has like a cell phone battery plug things where the copper plugs on the wall connect to 3 copper plugs on the case exactly like a removable cell phone battery, how would I hook that up with a new fan? or would I just need to not use that if I replace the side fan

not sure if you understand my question ... I can easily do what you mentioned but my question is if there is any way to replace this ... ill include a picture

main.php

at the bottom see that green thing? that connects to a similar piece on my case that runs to my case controller. is there any way to hook up a new fan to that same green plug at bottom

I can take pictures of my case directly if needed but ya I don't want to use the normal molex connection I want to use that green thing at bottom that came with the case that allows me to just take the case of without need to unplug anything

That lets the BIOs know if the side panel is open or closed I believe. That or it's a hot swap for a side fan (I've never had a case with either of the two things but I know it's one of the two). Either way it's next to useless, just plug the new fan into the board and ignore that thing.
