Hi,

Just built my first PC with SSD and windows 10. Currently, nothing but Windows, drivers, and Norton antivirus installed.

Now adding a 1TB Seagate drive. Can't see it when viewing file explorer, but can with disk management.

How do I make it active and make the new drive my new "My Documents"?

What else should I put on the SSD?

Thanks!

Right click on the black bar across disk one and select New Simple Volume, follow steps to set it up. Filesystem: NTFS, file allocation size: normal, letter: next available (not A or B, those are for floppy), if you will use this for mass storage then I would enable compression. If it's to be used as a drive for storing apps or games, then do not enable compression.
