Hi, I'am not sure what is better (easier): I want to add second server
(win2k) to existing one WinNT4. I got already advice from this news group,
but cannot deside what is better
install first on new server WinNT4 as BDC and then upgrade to win2k, or
upgrade first old machine to win2k and then conect new win2k machine to it
as BDC.
thanks for advice

If I were to choose I would opt for installing NT 4.0 on the new server as a
BDC while connected to your existing domain, then upgrade to Win 2k and AD.

Thanks, that's what I do so. One more thing. Can I use the same installation
disk with WinNT4 which is now as PDC to install temporary WinNT4 as BDC ?
Shouldn't be any conflicts?

Yes, just choose BDC during setup.
