Adding parts to a Dimension 8200

Thank you all for the tips. I really appreciate it!

I am using Windows XP, yes. I have bought Ram from another place you didn't
mention, but they assured me it would fit with the Ram I have now. All
specifications are the same and it's the same company. Only difference is
the part number, but it should work.
So I'll start with the Ram now, then the USB (drivers first) and then the
graphic card.
BTW would it be possible to find a newer BIOS for the 8200? Can you use a
BIOS from Intel (it's a 850e MoBo) instead of the Dell? Or is the A09 fine
enough for what I am doing?
