I need some help. I am trying to stay around the 270-320 range with these parts I am adding and im looking for a good alternative for the Motherboard and PSU that are cheaper. My friend made the parts list and said he wouldn't do it unless it was that type of Power supply.

I already have the other needed parts being that I am just upgrading. I would really like a cheaper motherboard and PSU. But I think it needs to be a semi-modular

I like it but, my friend who is building it said he wouldn't do it unless the Power supply is Semi-Modular. Is there anyway to add one to that?

I can ask him today. But, the motherboard on the list you sent is a Micro ATX but the case is a mid tower

This means that the board will definitely fit (with room to spare). Your case can fit ATX and anything smaller (MicroATX is a form factor smaller). Shouldn't be worried about that.

You aren't losing anything by it (maybe an extra PCIe slot that you were unlikely to use considering your constrained budget).
