hello

i have 2 old dell windows7 "inspiron" computers (circa 2012 un modified)
both 64 bit

1) i3-2120 3.3ghz 6gb ram
2)i3-550 3.2ghz 4gbram

my thought was to remove the ram from one and add to the ram of the other
and create one better computer.
is this possible or might there be some compatibility issues, i have not yet taken a look inside.

thanks

As long as the memory is ddr3 and compatible with the system, your idea should work. I'd try it. If it doesn't work it won't hurt anything. Just be sure to remove the power plug and make sure there is no power on at all (try to turn on the system with the cord removed). If there is power you can damage the memory, motherboard or both.
