Hi guys, I currently have http://www.ncix.com/detail/kingston-hyperx-blu-black-series-44-78421.htm in my system, and I was looking to add another 8GB of RAM because I do alot of video editing and photoshop etc. However since they dont sell it anymore, or anywhere I can find it in Canada, I looked at another kind of similar option. So do I need to get the identical RAM for the other two slots or can I add whatever I want, I was looking to add https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00J8E93G6/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=CH2W3P2M73TZ8483Z15Y&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2055621862&pf_rd_i=desktop in the empty slots.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks :)

System Specs are:
MSI Z87-45 Gaming Motherboard
Intel I5 4670k LGA 1150 Processor
Kingston Blu Black 2x4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
PowerColor R9 290x GPU
750 Watt CRX 80 Bronze Power Supply
Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD
Seagate 2 TB HD SATA

im no expert but looking at the specs of the two I think it would work fine, although you might have to mess with some setting due to different latency, I know people who run build like this and they are happy with it. Honestly though ram is pretty cheap these days so buying a new 16gb kit, and selling the old 8gb is a much safer option (and probably not much more expensive).

Hey guys, I just wanted to give an update. So I bought the Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2x8GB) 1600MHz set, and added it my build, and it works with no errors!(so far, *knocks on wood*). So I'm sitting with 24GB of RAM in total, the only issue I can see is that CPU-Z sees every slot except, slot 4, which should be an 8GB stick, however windows and the total memory page still sees the full 24GB.
Thanks again for the answers :)
