[SOLVED] Adding RAM to slots 3 & 4 = no BIOS

I bought extra RAM for my motherboard and it appears that putting any of the sticks in slots 3 & 4 (2 furthest from CPU) will prevent me from reaching BIOS.
the two sticks i already had installed were
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 8GB 3000Mhz
The new sticks are
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 8GB 3200Mhz

Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
The internal workings are designed for the capacity of the kit.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards, can be very sensitive to this.
This is more difficult when more sticks are involved.

The best I can suggest is to install two working sticks and get into the bios.
Set the speed to default or 2400.
Increase the ram voltage above the voltage you see. It is probably at 1.20 or 1.35v now.
Increase that by .05 and verify that that works.
Then install the second kit and see how you do.

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Other combinations you decide to make have no guarantee to be compatible together. You can do your own compatibility testing with no guarantees.

Workarounds to get extra memory to work include:
lower memory clock speed
relax DRAM timings
increase DRAM voltage

I have no idea what i’m doing as far as timing and voltage...
