Hey,

I currently have 1T 2xHDD.I plan to get another drive which is SSD and install windows on it and the programs I use there.Does having still the other HDDs will not change my computer speed even tho everything installed on SSD?

SSD will run at the fastest speed it is capable of regardless of regular HDDs in the computer. I have 1 PCIE SSD, 2x10,000 RPM HDDs, 1x7200 RPM HDD, and 5 SSDs in my main computer. Every drive runs at maximum capacity for its type and is not affected by the others in terms of performance.

Only the addition of the SSD based hard drive will have a notable speed increase to you when installing windows os to it and programs, or games running off it.

The other mechanical HD`s will see no speed increase at all, and will run at the same speed with the new SSD drive in your system.

This is how most people use an SSD.

It will be faster though.
