My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1750 with usb 2.0. I have added a usb 3.0 expresscard 3.0 dual usb internet adapter . This shows up in device manager usb ports as 3.0 hub. I cannot connect to the internet with it. It will try to connect and instantly disable. It came with a installation disc that I used. What could be wrong?

Solution
It should not require a fast processor to get good Internet speed.

Prob is often incorrect driver(s) which should come from the laptop's vendor, not Microsoft.

If third-party add-on, then driver should come from THAT vendor.

W10 people can have extra issues. Am out on that one.
