As the title states, I have a brand new CPU that i'd used for around a week before deciding to order some better thermal paste. I removed the CPU cooler, and used noctuas alcohol wipes to clean it down, after applying the new paste I realized the ahesive that holds the lid onto the cpu is oozing out black silicone / glue? Is this normal and should I be concerned. Thanks!

Take a look at the bottom edge of this one.

Yep one of my friends just pointed this out too, seems like this is absolutely normal for 12th gen chips, even down to the very location and manor at which its oozing. I guess there's nothing out of the ordinary here, thanks!
