Hi, recently I'm receiving my new hardware for a new build. I'm missing just the case. Today I downloaded some games on my laptop and moved them to my desktop's hdd. For that i toke my laptop's hdd and move it to the my new pc. After returning it on the laptop, I'm having alot of problems, like can't open any browser /con't delete folders / and everything ask for admin authorization

It seems funny but it's like my desktop became the admin of my 2.5 hdd

Can you guys help me?

What games did you download?

Why did you download the games to the laptop instead of directly to the desktop?

Or use a network connection between the desktop and laptop to share/transfer the games.

Did you actually boot from the laptop hdd while the laptop hdd was installed in the desktop? Or just set it up as a second drive?

My thought is that you have run afoul of anti-piracy protections and probably some Windows security protections as well.

1) fallout4 / bayonetta / ac origin / ps3 emu with gow 3 and persona5

2)we have poor connection in our country some it takes a lot of time to download just one game, and I don't like to let the components just on the desk for safety
3) I thought it will be better to pass it with a sata cable to be faster. But I regret it now
4) no, I set it up as 2nd
5) yeah that what I think too, but what exactly?

5) Likely some licensing issue matching game to the host computer. Registration issues. Country code like restrictions.

Swapping drives between computers can be tricky and all too easily go astray as well.

Plus all the game installations may have created some conflict or corruption problems.

My recommendation is a careful "do over".

Work with only one game at a time, direct to the intended host system. Ensure that everything is working as expected before moving on to a second game, the third game, etc..
