Adobe Flash Errors

I created a restore point on my Windows 7 PC. Then I installed adobe flash.
When I visit some pages (e.g., mail.com), I receive two messages which alternate. Neither stays on the screen long enough to read the entire thing. Here are the messages:

-Warning-Unresponsive Plugin. May be busy or may have stopped responding. You can stop the plugin now or you can continue to see if the plugin will complete: Continue. Stop Plugin.

-Warning-Unresponsive Script. A script on this page may be busy or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger or let the script continue: Continue. Debug. Stop.

Nothing happens as a result of taking any option. The warnings just continue to flicker on and off, alternating.

I am downloading the current version of Flash (22.0.0.192). The file is: flashplayer22_xa_install.exe. After the problem pops up, I restore the system to the earlier condition noted above. (System Restore). I have done this twice, with no success.

Here are specs for my PC. Thank you for any ideas.
