Since a few days ago, I have been seeing this Adobe Flash Player popup in strange places. Strangest of all, in the League of Legends client.

Safe to click, but I wouldn't touch that Update Now button:

Any ideas what this is or how to get rid of it?

Don't click the linker, if you want to update the Flash Player, then go to the official adobe website https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ You can see the address is not the same. And the newer version is 17.0.0.188.

You just closed it. Do nothing.

Well, I'm not trying to update Flash Player, these malware popups are just randomly replacing webpages I go to and sometimes my League of Legends homepage within client. It's just annoying and wanted to know if there was a fix.

I have already run a full scan on Malwarebytes and it came back with nothing. This didn't appear with LoL, I've had LoL installed since I built this computer and the problem has only arisen in the last week. I will give Avast a run, but I'm doubtful anything will change. I will report back if it finds anything of note.

Necroing this thread to say Avast, Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner, nor Windows has been able to remove this annoyance malware. Any additional suggestions are appreciated as I've been informed I am far from the only person with this issue.

Still got the problem. ANYONE out there who could help? This is starting to become a really anoying problem.
