I have attempted to load adobe flash player many times, it appears to load, but does not work. When I get an email, I click on the display, and it says adobe flash player required, click here. I have a Toshiba laptop, an 78, and am not copmuter savy.

Sounds like it could be a "suspicious" email.
Go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and that page will tell you what version you have, and let you know if it's working (otherwise you'll see a "placeholder" down, to the right, of the descriptive text that begins with "Adobe Flash Player is the standard for delivering high-impact, rich Web content").

Don't keep downloading the flash player.
The only new one you need, is the new version from 'YuTube'
These web sites don't really know what you have installed.
It's just a message reminder.
But, you may also have to run the setup for it to enable to use it?
While on the net?
