What's a good graphics card for use with Adobe photoshop. Is leadtek's G Force 4 MX 440 a good one or should I opt for an ATI Radeon 7500?

What's your budget? If it's around $150-200, then I'd suggest something like a R8500 or a Ti4200. They'll outperform either of your thoughts. If not, then GF4 MX440 would probably be a bit better. It'll probably outperform the R7500.

Remember that it's all relative, and there is a certain price/performace curve which in my opinion beyond around about $200 you pay much more for increasingly less performance increases.
This also mostly relates to 3D performance. The matrox cards have the better 2D performace per se, although any card of the past 2 years or more will give you "good" performance up to crazy resolutions (2000 x 2000 anyone?). For Photoshop performance, spend not so much on a graphics card but spend more on a better monitor.

Anything will do for PS with GeForce xxx or Radeon xxx based graphics card, and just stay away from Matrox they got some serious driver issues that are realy annoying and preaty high price.
And if you are asking me I would go for more RAM (512MB+)than for graphics card.
