adsl wifi router on company's network line ?

i want to connect my Tenda Wireless N300 Adsl 2+ Modem router from my work's network line and connect to my pc via lan, + use the wifi in addition for my phone , how to set up ?

the network cable running from the server to my pc, I want to plug that cable into my adsl router and from the router to my pc, when I do so the network stays on for few moments and goes down then.

OK your box has 3 components: (1)The WAN ASDL in port, (2)A built-in SWITCH, (3)WIFI Access point. Sound like you want to use 2 and 3 only.

Disable the box WAN port or just leave it disconnected. Connect inbound ethernet to one of the LAN ports, connect your PC to another LAN port. Disable the box's DHCP if it has one but ENABLE WIFI, and hopefully that's. If the box wants an IP of its own, then you need to assign a static IP to it, this you have to get it from the IT guys.
