128 MB PC-133
20gig Western Digital HDD (ATA 100 7200rpm)

that is what I am trying to get Win2Kserver installed on. I have installed WIN2K several times before but never seen this. After the formatting, I will get a blue screen.. I can't remember exactly what the error said ( I know). Anyways, I fdisked and formatted and got Win98 SE on without a problem. Anyone ever had this problem?

I installed Win2k:AS on my custom built box just fine. My Craptacular Compaq gave me a world of grief. I finally got it installed, but trying to install Active Directory on it would make it blue-screen. I finally gave up and just use a workgroup. My suspicion is it's the harddisk that's failing somewhere.

Try formatting, or another harddrive.
