hi all,

i have an 11700K CPU with Asus Z-590 E-Gaming Wifi (see signature for full spec).
the bios version i have installed is 0704, which is a beta version.

in the bios screen i have the option to turn on ABT even though its an i7.
a few questions:
  1. any chance that this can work?
    1. if so, do i need to set any further settings for it to take effect?
  2. is ABT working only on I9 a CPU or chipset/motherboard limitation?
thanks,

with ABT on it lead to very high voltages & temperatures.
disabling it lowered them both quite a bit, so i guess it is working with 11th gen i7.

i saw zero benefit from it.
ended up getting the same 52x all core ratio with much lower temperature when manually overclocking.

thank you for replying.
so you're saying that ASUS overrides Intel's limitation and enables ABT in i7?
