Advanced Format HD, creating a new Partition during Windows Installation?

I just bought a new Hard Drive and it says it is an AF drive. I called WD and asked what this means and how this will change my install of Windows and they said I'd need to create a partition
by going into the custom installation of the OS.

They said they do not give help on the instalation of an OS on the HD's so I need STEP BY STEP instructions on how to create a partition and install Windows 7 on this BRAND NEW AF HD.

I need this to be a safe, detailed reply on how to do so. I know very little about HD's and I don't want to break something 😉

Assuming you have at least a Windows 7 SP1 installation media then there's nothing magical involved, just install as on any other drive. Windows 7 SP1 and above support 4k drives natively.
