I've spent a week now googling for help, and yes, before i asked here (my last effort) i did search the forums for NIC Priority.

What i am asking here is something that is specific to Windows 10, and has been the subject of many woeful server administrators since the release of Windows 10.

NIC priority didn't work anymore, and then Microsoft removed the legacy dialogue and added metrics to each NIC instead of offering a real fix. Metrics do not work either, assigning a number doesn't mean anything, leaving it on Auto doesn't change anything either.

There have been many command based (Powershell / CMD) solutions that do not work as well.

I am now interested in some kind of RegEdit solution, this is a fresh install of Windows 10 x64 Pro, i am trying to use my SFP+ Infiniband connection to RDC and Xfer files between my PC and my Server running Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter.

I've done and tried calling Microsoft tech support, and after being mocked for trying to get help on their $4K and setting them straight repeatedly, i was unable to get anywhere as they want $500 to help, and i already know the outcome, NO SOLUTION has come from any technet staff as of yet.

Curious if the masters here at TH can step up where Microsoft fails.

NOTE: I have not yet setup SMB Multichannel, i can barely understand the logic behind it, but i did start to attempt it, both sides have it, and i'm open to the idea of using it... it does look promising.

Please and Thank you
