Advertising Everywhere

The ads that appear before the website displays are beyond annoying. I've had Tom's set as my homepage for over 10 years. The text ads, the popup ads, and the related shopping ads are all tolerable, but when I open my browser and the first thing I see is an ad, that website will no longer be my homepage. With much regret, I am now in search of another site to call home. I realize that the ads pay for the site, but you can only have so many of them before you push away previous loyal readers.

If you use firefox, download the adblock plus add-on. You can use it to block most everything.

If you don't use firefox, you may want to give it a shot.
