My build with the CX750m PSU, Maximus Hero VI - Motherboard

So I'm thinking about getting the 1070 or 1080 - a bit pricy right now for Canadians... But I was also wondering if anything needs an upgrade which I myself don't think I do maybe other than power supply but I'd like to know the major differences between the cards and currently I play 1080p on 144hz but I plan on getting a 1440p monitor in the future as well. I'd like to know if it's really worth it for the extra lump for the 1080 or if I should stick with the 1070 for my build as there is a sale for a evga version at the nearest store.

if you plan on gaming consistently on the 1440p monitor down the road, a gtx 1080 is a must. otherwise a gtx 1070 will be fine for consistent gaming on 1080p and light requirement games or lowered settings on 1440p. a psu upgrade is not required, however those CXM corsair models are notoriously bad quality for high end systems such as yours. if it were me, i'd buy a better one to protect my investments.
