Advice and help on a budget gaming build

Hey, I just joined this forum because I need some advice on building a new pc. I always wanted to build one, but never got the chance because I thought you had to be a brainiac like Dexter from Dexter's laboratory with a lot of time on your hands. So I've finally made a decision and saved enough of my hard earned money to build a BUDGET gaming pc. I only have around $700 to spend and I don't want to send more than that unless I HAVE to. I already have a cheap CRT moniter (upgrade later), keyboard, speakers, and mouse. I did spend a lot of my time researching for the past month about computers so you don't need to inform about that confusing stuff because I know the basics. This is what I have on my wish list so far on newegg, so could you please tell me if everything is good to go or if I should get something different with better deals and performance for the same amount of money. Oh! I also plan on overclocking because its a budget machine and I want to play crysis on decent settings(monitor only does 1280X1024).

Cpu Fan: I need help on a cheap fan with great cooling power
This build will cost $642 with shipping so I can add a little bit more to make it come out to $700 with shipping. I believe thats everything I need to get started. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

The case/psu combo isn't valid anymore - what's your 2nd choice?
The cpu will make short work of crysis
Decent ram - just don't freak when it won't initially run at 1066
You might run into some crowding issues with the motherboard and video card - the video card takes up 2 slots. if you're not going to use the pci slots, then its not a big deal
I'm not a huge fan of ati, but from what i've read, its a pretty decent card, should perform well for you.
Good choice on the o/s, gives you the ability to add more ram later on
For the harddrive - games are frikin huge now, with vista and games, that 250 will go quick. i'd suggest either the 640 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319, or if you have some money left over, the 1tb - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136317, or at least the 500 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136320 .

other than maybe choosing a full atx motherboard, the other items look pretty solid.

On your budget, I suggest you go with a P43 mobo, then put more money into the GPU. Get this mobo:

Get this cooler for your CPU and overclock to 3.6 or so.

Proximon and I were posting at the same time lol. I like the CPU he found, but it might put the GPU I found out of reach. If you went with that build, get the GPU I showed you. It is just a few bucks more and is worth the extra cash. If you can't afford both, then get the E5200 and the GPU I showed you, it will give better performance in games.

You will have a rough time finding a good GPU that isn't a dual slot. Its a fact of life, If you want to game on your PC, you will pretty much have to buy a dual slot GPU.

You won't have crowding issues, don't worry about it.

Another option for the GPU is 9800GTX+, they are coming down in price and becoming worthwhile again. Crysis likes Nvidia more than ATI so if that is a major title you are concerned about then look into them.
