As said in the tittle, would you change anything?, which one to choose?:

I7 8700k:

Mostly gaming (60hz for now, not sure about upgrading in the future), and a bit of editing.

I think 8700k have the edge now but given ryzen will be compatible up to 2020 with that socket...

So, advice please.

If gaming is your priority, the 8700K is the better option - while still being solid for editing too.

For 1800EUR or so though, you could do better.
