Both these PSU's are better than the Corsair one, obviously the more expensive one is a bit better!

You might find the Hyper evo a tight squeeze in that case. I think you'll be OK though. The Hyper 212 EVO is 158mm high and the case says it can take up to 162mm. I wouldn't risk it to be honest and I'd get a case with more room! This one has tons of room...

Alternatively get a cooler that's not as tall!

Solution
It's a nice build. Here is something I made:

AMD 3.5 GHz FX 8320 8 Core Processor Black Edition 10499
Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 11580
G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 2133MHz 7500
Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon Dual-X R9 270X 15199
Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU 3899
WD Blue WD10EZEX 1 TB Internal Hard Drive 4200
Cooler Master K281 Mid Tower Cabinet 3525
LG 27 inch LED Backlit LCD - 27MP35HQ Monitor 18800

Total: 75202

Monitor is cheaper and there is no cooler since you won't be overclocking now. However it has much better CPU and awesome motherboard. You can save a bit on ram but most options are out of stock right now. I'd get 1833MHz because that's what CPU is working with (don't mind a bit slower/faster - very very little diffrence in performance). Some users here may say that GPU sucks but it's not true It will last long. Sure it's not awesome but it does the job.

Power output of both the PSUs suggested by you is lower than Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU which is cheaper. I don't get how are they better.
Getting the cabinet suggested by you is not quite possible(It is much better though), as the one selected by me (Cooler Master K281) was already a stretch due to tight budget. Here is another cooler below around 139mm. Its size is smaller and is cheaper. What do you suggest?
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO Cooler

Your mobo is around 5000 more than Asus M5A97. Do I really need this? Whats better?
I will be adding 4gb more ram after some time.
You get a little bit cheaper monitor but I like the design of 27MP75HM Monitor a lot more.

The cabinet selected by me: Cooler Master K281 Mid Tower Cabinet
http://www.flipkart.com/cooler-master-k281-mid-tower-ca... come with two 120mm fans (1 front + 1 rear). Do I need to add another(If possible)/change them or are they enough?
FX 6300 should come with a stock cooler fan! If I don't overclock, do I even need to buy any expensive processor cooler fan?
I was considering the R9 270x to be quite expensive and good but people are saying that its only average. But, for some time, I will be playing relatively older games like GTA 4, FarCry 3, TombRaider, COD Modern Warfare etc of which some of them I already have, which I thinK will be good on this setup. Only doubt I have about 270x is that it might not be able to show its full potential coupled with 6300 and only 4gb of ram.

The PSU wattage doesn't tell you anything about how well made it is. The Corsair VS series are made with cheap parts, the Seasonic PSU's I recommended are made with better quality parts

You don't need to add extra fans to your cabinet/case.

The stock cooler that comes with the FX6300 is very bad. If you are going to overclock the processor (FX processors can be overclocked quite a lot and this is what makes them good value for money) you will definitely need a better cooler than the one it comes with.

The R9 270X is a good choice for playing those games at 1080p or less. It is indeed an upper mid-range GPU but that is the most common type of GPU you will find in gaming PC's. Not many people can afford the top-end GPU's.

I think the RAM could hold you back but I'm sure in a few months time with a bit of saving you will be able to buy a matching 4Gb stick to go with it. Better to start with a good quality build now and improve it later with things like extra RAM and SSD's

It's a top notch AM3+ board with great OC options and awesome SLI/Crossfire support. It may be an overkill if you don't want another GPU or you don't overclock - in that case M5A97 will be great too.

Alright. So is a 430 or a 500w psu enough to run my system properly?
I like the larger Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat Transparent Side Panel Mid Tower Cabinet suggested by you. I will get this one, so that I can fit a good fan but I will be using the stock fan for now to save some money. Will get fan and the additional 4gb ram after some time when I will also try to overclock.

@superafal
I will use only one gpu.
I have read some articles and saw some videos about OC and I will give it a try. Can you explain what great overclocking options are there in the Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 in addition to the Asus M5A97.

You will need at least a 500w power supply of good quality like the two Seasonics I recommended earlier. The HAF 912 is a very nice case and should last many years. It is large enough for many components including water cooling and long graphics cards.

I can's see any options. There's no intel cpu that can match a 6300 at 4.5ghz OC within almost twice its price. And also 6 cores will be good for some newer games and the games coming in the future. I am not an expert, nor have I seen the real life performance of 6300, just what I have seen and read on the internet.

i wont challenge your wisdom, but this i will say.

1. know that OC changes power and thermal requirements; for comparision purposes, i would compare a non-oc amd processor with non-oc intel one
2. 270x seems an overkill for 1080p; it draws more power and also is expensive in indian maket; 260x can dojust fine for a single monitor setup

its good that you like to get good peripherals but there is something called overspend; for example, the recommended smps in the above post is close to 5k, where as a good corsair can do the same job for around 2 - 3 k and instead you can spend the savings on a good ups; the recommended cabinet is around 6k, where as you can get a good looking cabinet at around 3 - 4 and spend the rest on fans, furniture, etc.

let me know if you like to evaluate/consider and i'll give a build suggestion

You're right about comparing cpus but the OC-ing ability of 6300 is an added bonus & that's why I picked it.

I think you're the first person who said that 270x is an overkill for 1080p. Infact, as a noob, I was shocked to find that a 15k gpu is not high end top of the line. but just gets the job done and is a upper mid-range gpu. Maybe 260x is good, please tell me about its performance.

I agree with the psu thing. I just checked my system wattage on a website according to which 500w is more than enough. I will be getting this: Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU
http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-vs550-550-watt-psu/p/itmdg36xx8yzgjrs?pid=PSUDG34775NHYDHK

About the cabinet, I would say that I liked the HAF 912 but due to low budget I picked the K281. But because of the doubt that it might not fit a good cpu cooler, I will be getting the HAF 912.

I'm also thinking of another monitor as the "LG 27 inch LED Backlit LCD - 27MP75HM Monitor" is quite expensive & response time is 5ms. Dell S2240L is the most popular in India but its only 21.5" and the response time is 7ms. What about this one: BenQ GL2450HM 24 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor
http://www.flipkart.com/benq-gl2450hm-24-inch-led-backlit-lcd-monitor/p/itmdfpqpw7nffhjy?pid=MOND9ZW9AMNZ4FKU
And this one: Asus 23 inch VX238H LED Backlit LCD Monitor
http://www.flipkart.com/asus-23-inch-vx238h-led-backlit-lcd-monitor/p/itmdwtjvwhfzzrhc?pid=MONDWTJVHSFUV7ZX

Might get Windows 8.1 with the money saved.

ok, fair argument on processor

for graphics cards, see below. this page makes a compelling argument for 260x. this is enough for 1080p single monitor setup; it has the same performance as a gtx 750 ti, but the gtx is more energy efficient due to it's maxwell architecture; it costs the same as a 260x, so i got that instead of 260x for my build;
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-2.html

on the psu thing, dont take the vs series, thats el cheapo; cx series is a good start, and it does not cost too much (i got this myself)
http://www.corsair.com/en-in/power-supply-units

and use this for your power needs after you have finalized your cpu and gpu, it helps with power estimate which helps with the smps and ups selection
http://support.asus.com/powersupply.aspx

on the cabinet, haf is great for air cooling if you add a few fans; by the way, have you considered Cooler master N series (300/400)? they are 2k cheaper and do the job just fine
http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Lines/mid-tower/

haha, funny that you mention dell s2240L, i'm typing this post looking at one (i got this myslef), so i know its one of the best around
i see that you are asus and benq as well, so here is what i know. they are both good brands,but the key thing is for 1080p, 22 - 24 inches is good; but dont by beyond that such as 27" unless you will sit far from the monitor;

about the os, windows 10 is here, so hold your 8.1 puchase, and get 10 directly; i heard its way better than the flop 8 versions

good luck

Tell me about your monitor. Is it good for gaming and what about the high response time. Isn't the size bit small as per todays standards?

Thanks for the help.

its a 21'5" full hd monitor and:

a) fits my small desk space, has norrow bezels incase we upgrade to a multi monitor setup
b) has a good 250 nits brightness, some what reflective screen, but that works for me
c) is led lcd dsiplay and is very energy efficient, i think at 18 watts when in use
d) has hdmi and vga
e) is light and portable, but has no height adjust or vesa mounts due to its budget class

i like it, its so good that one of my colleagues is i think trying to steal it by asking me to upgrade to an ultra wide and sell this to him for cheap

see it here, in the 4 of 4 pic
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/310222-31-hardware-member-system-gallery/page-81#14061731

Do you play games on it? Is there any problem while playing games due to high (7ms) response time.

not really

i play easy breezy mmorpg games like wow and lol and since these are not graphics heavy, it works just fine for me

but idont play those serious games like farcry, crysis or others, so i would not know

You can save a few pennies swapping the motherboard for this gigabyte - it looks like the revision 2 with crossfire support & 4+2 power phasing - nearly as good as the Asus but less money
http://www.flipkart.com/gigabyte-ga-970a-ds3p-motherboard/p/itmdt9h6w2wsfg2c?pid=MBDDT9H6W2WSFG2C&otracker=start&q=gigabyte+ga-970a-ds3p

You are going to struggle with 4gb ram mate.
This 8gb set is very good value - you can't go wrong with Kingston hyper x (its cas9 at 1600mhz & is rock solid for the price)
http://www.flipkart.com/kingston-hyperx-ddr3-8-gb-2-x-4-gb-pc-ram-khx1600c9d3b1k2-8gx/p/itmdg5dhzha9phzs?pid=RAMDG5DHJMBH4XKG&otracker=search_2&pageNum=1&query=hyper+x+1600

You are correct about the RAM. I will be adding 4gb after some time.
