Hi everyone, I'm planning on building a second gaming rig and I have decided on the following parts so far:

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Corsair H80 92.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card
Asus PCE-N53 802.11a/b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter
Corsair 600T White Graphite ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair Enthusiast 750W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

The price for the above parts is estimated to be around £988 on PC Partpicker (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/V0xs)

My total budget is £1400-£1500 and I would like some recommendations as to which motherboard I should choose for this rig as well as an affordable SSD and good quality monitor, speakers and keyboard.

In your shoes, I would use the Noctua DH14 instead of the H80. Less expensive, and it performs better. http://www.ebuyer.com/195165-noctua-nh-d14-dual-radiator-and-fan-socket-lga1366-lga1156-lga775-am3-am2-nh-d14
I would tend to favour an ASRock Extreme4 for mobo in that price range. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007KTY4A6/?tag=pcp0f-21
The ASUS VG248QE is an excellent monitor, with 144hz refresh and 1ms response time. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00B19T7QC/?tag=pcp0f-21
Samsung makes some excellent and fairly affordable SSDs, such as this 120GB model: http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/120GB+Samsung+840+Series+2.5%22+SATA+6GB%2Fs+%28SATA-III%29+Solid+State+Drive+?productId=53690&source=skinflint

I find that keyboards tend to be more of a person preference issue, same with speakers. You'd probably be best off choosing them yourself.

Motherboard - Gigabyte Z77X-D3H

Ever since Intel’s introduction of the Z77 chipset, motherboard giant Gigabyte has made huge leaps in in improvements on their motherboards all the way from the budget end to the extreme high end and the Z77X-D3H is a perfect example of what kind of top quality products can be achieved.

With support for PCIe 3.0, SATA 3 6Gb/s, 8 channel integrated audio, Gigabyte’s fully digital power delivery system, and ultra durable 4 features, it’s got a lot going for it.

Boot Drive: Samsung 840 Pro 128Gb SSD

Nowadays, I think every PC should include an SSD period. They’re waaaaaaaaay faster and they draw less energy, but unfortunately they do cost a significant amount more than a traditional hard drive.Typically, the Crucial m4 has been my go to choice when purchasing new SSDs, but the : Samsung 840 Pro is better. It has excellent reliability, great performance, get that If you can.

Monitor - ASUS VG248QE Black 24" 144Hz 1ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD 3D Monitor Height&pivot adjustable 350 cd/m2 80,000,000:1 Built-in Speakers
144Hz and 1ms response time, support NVIDIA 3D solution

Keyboard - If you want increased tactility and faster response times, then you're going to want a mechanical keyboard. While there are many great mechanical keyboards, the CM Storm QuickFire Rapid is definitely one of the most affordable. For mechanical keyboards I also recommend you look at the Corsair K60 / K90, Ducky Keyboard I or II, and the Das Keyboard S.If you want a cheap keyboard look at Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 or Microsoft Sidewinder X4.

+1
Even a 7950 would beat the 670 for the same price.

 the 7950 is slower then a 670 a 7970 is 4% faster though. ;)
