Advice for buying a non-gaming graphics card

I'm looking for a gfx card that will easily power a dell u2713hm (1440p IPS). I also plan on adding a secondary, smaller monitor so I want to make sure the card can run both. The secondary would be ~22" and probably 1080p.

I was initially looking at a gtx 770 which I think I can get for around $340. But I think that is probably way overkill for what I need and it would be nice to halve that cost.

My main use case is graphic design and programming. I want to ensure everything looks as true as possible on the screen. I don't really play games but wouldn't mind having the capability to at least play some (not at max resolution).

Additional info:
- This is for a new build: haswell i5, mATX, 16GB RAM,
- I will get a PSU that is appropriate for the card
- looking to purchase over thanksgiving.
- Would like something quiet
- No overclocking required

Thanks!
