Advice for buying SSD. M2 NVMe or SATA for gaming/daily use?

Hello. I want to buy an SSD. My motherboard has a PCI slot but the NVMe is more expensive and I have to buy a lesser capacity. My budget is around 130 euros. So I buy either Samsung 960 Evo NVMe 240 GB or Samsung 850 Evo 500GB.

I do not think NVMe is necessary but I feel it is a shame I can't utilize me PCI slot (very minor reason). Should I go for the 850 or 960? Or should I wait? Also any kind of advice like other SSD also appreciated.

NVME has a benefit in random 4k read and write speeds. For daily use/gaming the SATA SSD is just as good, the difference would not validate the extra costs.
The 850 is great, the MX500 is similar.
