Advice for connecting GTX 950?

Just got a new Lenovo computer from best buy the other day, it's graphics card was somehow worse than what I had with my previous computer. So I thought it'd be nice to plug in the GeForce GTX 950 I've had waiting.

I'm not sure what to do with the 6-pin cord that came with the card. It splits into two cords with flat ends (three prongs inside with an empty spot where a fourth prong would go). I can only assume the graphics card wouldn't run properly with this being plugged in (although I haven't tried starting the computer without doing it), but I've no idea where to actually plug these two cords inside the computer itself.

My question being: What do I do with these twin cords? Where do I plug it into the board?

Solution
the twin cords you do not use unless there aren't enough power connectors on your PSU. fish around on your PSU for a 6pin connector labeled PCIE. you find it from the PSU either 6 pin or 6+2 pin and connect it to your GPU. and put the gpu into the first PCIE socket. then you're set.

the daisy chain cords are for when you PSU doesn't have that 6 pin or 6+2 pin connector so you will need to attach the 2 flat molex plugs into molex plugs on the PSU. but remember "if you need to use daisy chain cords or there aren't enough connectors, you know its time for a new PSU"
